These Terms of Use govern your use of RetroMend, an AI app that restores, repairs, colorizes, sharpens and enhances old or damaged photos. By using the app you agree to these terms.
By downloading, accessing, or using RetroMend ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own lawful, non-commercial use, subject to these terms and the App Store Terms of Service.
You keep all rights to the photos you submit and to the restored results. You are solely responsible for the images you upload, and you represent that:
You grant us and our processing providers a limited license to process, transmit, and store your submitted images only as needed to provide the restoration service you request.
You agree not to use the app to:
Restoration, colorization, enhancement, upscaling, and animation are produced automatically by AI models. Results are estimates and may be inaccurate, altered, or differ from the original subject. Colorized or reconstructed details are interpretations and may not reflect true historical colors or features. The app is provided for personal and creative use, not for forensic, legal, medical, or identification purposes.
The app offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock features such as high-resolution export and animation. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
The app, including its design, interface, text, branding, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer any ownership of the app to you.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that results will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or images, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
We may suspend or terminate access to the app if you violate these terms or misuse the service. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
