Getting started
- Allow camera access so the coach can see the shot, and microphone access if you want to talk to it.
- Point the camera at your subject. The voice coach tells you, out loud, how to adjust angle, distance, pose and light. Captions show the same tips on screen.
- Ask questions any time, for example “How should I stand?” or “Is the light okay?”.
- When everything lines up, the coach counts down and takes the photo. You can also press the shutter yourself whenever you like.
- Open the photo to save it to your Photos library or share it.
Tip: for full-length outfit shots, prop the phone up or use a tripod and step back — the coach will guide you into the frame.
Voice minutes and plans
Everyone gets one free minute of voice coaching. Minutes are counted only while a coaching session is running; you can pause the coach at any time, and the camera and manual shutter keep working without minutes.
Basic, Plus and Pro plans add an allowance of voice minutes. Weekly plans receive it every week; monthly and yearly plans receive it every month. Unused minutes do not carry over. Your remaining minutes are shown at the bottom of the camera screen.
Weekly plans can start with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. If you don’t want to continue, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Restoring or cancelling a subscription
If you already subscribed — on this device or another one signed in to the same Apple Account — open Settings inside the App and tap Restore Purchases.
To cancel: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Voxmera. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I can’t hear the coach
- Check the volume and make sure the coach’s sound is not muted on the camera screen.
- The online coach needs an internet connection. On a weak connection it may take a few seconds to start. If it can’t be reached, the App switches to a built-in offline coach with pre-recorded voice tips and lets you know.
- If you use Bluetooth headphones, try the phone speaker to rule out a pairing issue.
The camera is black or the coach can’t hear me
Open iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera (or Microphone) and make sure Voxmera is allowed. Close other apps that might be using the camera, then reopen Voxmera.
Languages
The App and its voice coach are available in 32 languages, and the coach speaks the language of the App. You can change the language in Settings inside the App.
Privacy in one line
No account; while the coach is on, camera frames and your voice are processed in real time by OpenAI and not kept by the App; your photos stay on your device. Full detail in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
