How does water eject work?
Turn the volume up, remove any case, point the speaker downward, and start a cleaning cycle. The App plays low-frequency sound waves that vibrate the speaker membrane, helping push water droplets out of the mesh. Repeat the cycle two or three times for best results. If sound is still muffled after several cycles, let the phone dry naturally and try again later.
My phone got seriously wet — what should I do?
If your device was submerged, power it off, do not charge it, and contact an authorized service provider. The in-app Rescue guide walks you through the safe first steps. DryTone helps with moisture in the speaker mesh; it cannot repair internal water damage.
Why does the App ask for microphone access?
Only the decibel meter uses the microphone, to show live sound-level readings. Audio is processed on your device in real time and never recorded or uploaded. All other features work without microphone access.
Why does the App ask for location?
Only the optional humidity card uses your approximate location, to fetch current local humidity from a weather service. If you deny access, the card is hidden and everything else works normally.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → DryTone, or open the App Store app and tap your profile picture → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
How do I restore a purchase?
On the Pro screen, tap "Restore Purchase" while signed in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe.
