Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By downloading or using the DryTone iOS app ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
3. Important — What the App Can and Cannot Do
- The water-eject feature plays sound frequencies that can help push liquid droplets out of the speaker mesh. Results depend on your device, the amount of liquid, and how quickly you act. We do not guarantee any particular outcome.
- The App is not a repair tool and is not a substitute for professional service. If your device was submerged or seriously exposed to liquid, power it off and contact an authorized service provider.
- The decibel meter uses your device microphone and is not a certified measuring instrument. Readings are approximate and for personal reference only — do not rely on them for occupational-safety, legal, or medical decisions.
- Humidity readings come from a third-party weather service and reflect outdoor conditions in your area, for reference only.
- Sound played at high volume can be unpleasant to people and pets nearby. Use reasonable volume and stop if you experience discomfort.
4. Subscriptions and Lifetime Unlock (DryTone Pro)
DryTone Pro unlocks the full toolkit and removes usage limits. Options at the time of writing:
- Weekly — US$9.99 per week, after a 3-day free trial.
- 6 Months — US$29.99 every 6 months.
- Lifetime — US$79.99 one-time purchase. Not a subscription; nothing renews.
Prices may vary by region; the final price is shown in your local App Store before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple Account settings — deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a different plan during the trial. The Lifetime unlock is a one-time payment and is not affected by any of the renewal terms above.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the App, and not to use it in any way that violates applicable law or App Store rules.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage to your device, hearing, data, or property arising from use of the App, including damage caused by liquid exposure that the App could not resolve.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Changes
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
