Terms of Use
1. About Cthulhu Jigsaw
Cthulhu Jigsaw, also presented in some localized text as Abyss Summons ("Cthulhu Jigsaw", "the App", "we", "us", or "our"), is a single-player jigsaw puzzle game for iOS. The App includes timed puzzle levels, chapters, local progress, optional sharing features, and optional paid unlocks.
These Terms apply to your use of the App, including any features, purchases, updates, and related services made available through the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country or region, to use Cthulhu Jigsaw. If a minor uses the App, a parent or guardian should supervise use and manage purchases.
3. App Store Terms
Cthulhu Jigsaw is distributed through the Apple App Store. These Terms are between you and Cthulhu Jigsaw, not Apple. Cthulhu Jigsaw, not Apple, is responsible for the App and its content, except where Apple's mandatory terms or applicable law provide otherwise.
Your download and use of the App may also be governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and Apple's applicable App Store rules. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Apple's mandatory terms, Apple's mandatory terms will control to the extent required.
Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Cthulhu Jigsaw, except as required by applicable law. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
4. License to Use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Cthulhu Jigsaw on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by Apple's App Store rules.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or create derivative works from the App, except where applicable law expressly allows such activity.
5. Game Content and Custom Images
The App may include built-in puzzle artwork and may allow you to choose your own images for puzzle play. You are responsible for any image or content you select or use with the App, and you represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use it.
Custom images are processed on your device for gameplay. Do not use the App to create, store, or share unlawful, infringing, harmful, or abusive content.
6. Purchases and Unlocks
Cthulhu Jigsaw may offer a one-time in-app purchase or other paid unlocks. Available content, features, prices, and purchase terms are shown in the App and on the App Store at the time of purchase.
Purchases through the App Store are charged to your Apple ID account and processed by Apple. You can restore eligible purchases from inside the App while signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Refunds and billing issues for App Store purchases are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies. We do not control Apple's refund decisions.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Cthulhu Jigsaw to:
- violate any law, regulation, contract, intellectual property right, privacy right, or other third-party right;
- upload, process, create, or distribute unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing content;
- attempt to bypass purchase requirements, usage limits, security controls, or access restrictions;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the App or related systems;
- misrepresent your affiliation with us or use the App in a way that harms other users or the App.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Cthulhu Jigsaw, you acknowledge that your use of the App is also subject to the Privacy Policy.
9. Third-Party Services
The App may rely on third-party services, including Apple services, analytics and diagnostics tools, and platform infrastructure. These services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
10. Intellectual Property
Cthulhu Jigsaw, including its design, software, features, names, branding, artwork, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the App except for the limited license described above.
If you send feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use them without restriction or compensation to you.
11. Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of Cthulhu Jigsaw at any time. We may update the App to add, change, or remove features, chapters, artwork, tools, and purchase benefits.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
12. Disclaimers
Cthulhu Jigsaw is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that gameplay, progress storage, purchases, sharing, or other App features will be free from errors or interruptions.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or other losses arising out of or related to your use of Cthulhu Jigsaw.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the App during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cthulhu Jigsaw, its developers, service providers, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of the App, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Cthulhu Jigsaw is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the laws of your country or region require otherwise.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the App, on our website, in release notes, or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of Cthulhu Jigsaw after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept the updated Terms.
