Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading or using VE ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the App.

3. Important — What the App Can and Cannot Do

• The App accepts clips of 3 to 5 seconds. It re-renders one short shot.
• It is not a timeline video editor. It does not cut, join or arrange clips, and it does not add captions, subtitles or music.
• It does not generate video from text alone. You must supply a clip.
• Rendering runs on remote servers and requires an internet connection. It usually takes a few minutes and can take longer under load.
• Output is generated by an AI model. Results vary between runs, may not match your prompt exactly, and the same prompt can produce a different result the next time. This is inherent to the technology and is not a defect.

4. Credits

Each render spends credits from your balance. If a render fails, the credits spent on it are returned to your balance automatically.

Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred between accounts or devices. Credits from consumable purchases are consumed as you use them.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

The App offers auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly, monthly and yearly), consumable credit packs, and a one-time unlock that grants a daily credit allowance. Current prices and terms are shown in the App before you confirm any purchase.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription covering the same content.
• Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions; we cannot issue refunds directly.

6. Your Content and Acceptable Use

You keep ownership of the clips and photos you upload. By using the App you confirm that you have the right to use that material, including the right to use any other person's likeness that appears in it.

You agree not to use the App to create or distribute:

• material depicting a real person in a false or misleading way, or presented as a genuine recording of something that did not happen;
• content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that depicts minors inappropriately;
• content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.

Uploads are processed by a third-party AI provider, which applies its own content restrictions. A render may be refused on those grounds.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that rendering will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will be produced.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
