Pencil Sketch is committed to protecting the privacy of our users ("Users" or "you"). This Privacy Policy ("this Policy") aims to explain to you how we collect, store, use, manage and protect your user information (including personal information) when using our website and our services.

Please note that the scope of this policy is limited to the user information (including personal information) submitted to Pencil Sketch or collected by Pencil Sketch when you use our website and our services; "personal information" under this policy refers to the information itself or the individual that Pencil Sketch can access. Other information that, if contacted, can identify a specific individual, including your name, address, telephone number and email address.

Using our website and our services means that you agree to this policy and agree to the collection, processing, disclosure and sharing of your user information (including your personal information) in the manner specified in this policy. If you do not agree to any terms of this policy and future revisions, please do not use our website and our services.

What Information We Collect

In order to provide you with our website and our services, we will collect your personal information and user information in accordance with this policy within the scope permitted by law and only when you browse the website, use certain functions or services. If you do not provide this information, we may not be able to provide our products or services to you.

Device Information

When you use our services on a mobile device, we collect information related to your device. For example, International Mobile Equipment Identity ("IMEI"), Advertising Identifier ("IDFA" and "IDFV"), Integrated Circuit Card Identity ("ICCID") and Media Access Control ("MAC") addresses, device model and device resolution, so that we can count the number of devices using our products and services and perform device model data analysis and graphic adaptation analysis.

Internet Information

When you use our website or our services while connected to the Internet, we collect the name of the operator and the type of network you use for the purpose of understanding the user's operator and network distribution. In addition, we also collect the WIFI name and WIFI access time to understand the user scenario of your service.

Location Information

We collect your location information, such as country code, latitude and longitude information, network location, IP address and system setting country and time zone information. This information helps us understand user distribution and user usage scenarios, so that we can provide them with the correct application version and better services. Except as otherwise agreed in this policy, we will not share this information with any third party. If you no longer want us to track or use specific location information, you can choose to turn off the network and GPS functions on your device or disable our permission to obtain your network, GPS and device information.

Log Information

When you use some of our services, including participating in, generating, and browsing content related to our services, we will automatically collect certain relevant log information in Pencil Sketch application products, including: (1) details about your usage time and usage frequency; (2) device statistics, critical operation paths, error logs, crash records, language and time zone, etc. These log information can help us better understand and improve our services, and are not used to identify any specific individual.

Facial Image Information

When you use the video production function, we will only collect your facial data to obtain portrait feature information for subsequent video generation. Your portrait data will be deleted immediately after the video is generated.

Advertising Information

We may display advertisements on the Services and may collect and use information about you, such as your device identifier, MAC address, IMEI, geographic location and IP address, for the purpose of tracking advertisements. This information is used to create internal user IDs to help us better count and track advertisements based on language, geographic location and other details. We do not sell this information to third parties.

Information Collected by Third Party Services

The Services we provide may include third-party tracking tools belonging to our service providers. This third party may use cookies, APIs (application programming interfaces) and SDKs (software program development kits) in the services we provide, thereby collecting and analyzing user information on our behalf. Third parties may have access to information such as your device identifier, MAC (Media Access Control) address, IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity), region (specific location in a given language), geolocation information, and IP address for the purpose of providing services under their respective privacy policies. Our Privacy Policy does not cover the use of third-party tracking tools. We do not have access to or control over these third parties.

Other Information

We may also collect other types of information that are not personally associated. For example, operating system type and version number to understand system upgrades, system language for language adaptation, application list to understand user preferences, etc. The purpose of collecting this information is to improve our services to you.

How We Use Information

The purpose of collecting user information and personal information is to provide you with our products and services and to ensure that we comply with applicable laws. We use your user information and personal information for the following purposes:

(1) Product service. Provide, process, maintain, improve, develop our website and/or provide our services to you, including customer support, and other services provided through the device or website.

You can turn off this feature at any time by changing your preferences under Settings.

(6) Verify user identity. SMS verification during account login to ensure that unauthorized personnel cannot log in; the live video function verifies user identity to comply with applicable legal requirements.

(7) Collect user feedback. Your feedback is extremely valuable in helping Pencil Sketch improve its services. In order to track your feedback, Pencil Sketch may use the personal information you provide to contact you and keep records.

(8) Others. Store and maintain information about you for the purpose of operating our business or complying with legal obligations.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell any personal information to third parties. We have no right to share and/or disclose all or part of your personal information to third parties unless the following circumstances occur:

(1) To protect the personal or property safety of others;

(2) To prevent or resolve online fraud;

(3) Safeguard the legal rights and interests of Pencil Sketch;

(4) To achieve the purpose stated in the section "What information do we collect", the prerequisite is that the recipient of such disclosure should be equally bound by this policy and can provide adequate protection of information;

(5) According to the provisions of laws and regulations, or comply with the requirements of government departments and judicial organs; usually the foregoing requirements are to protect network security and protect the rights, property and safety of us, our users and third parties.

You agree that we update this policy accordingly in accordance with laws and regulations or Pencil Sketch business decisions, and you are willing to be bound by the revised policy. If there are major changes to this policy, we will make announcements on the website or push information when necessary.
