BrainFit (脑力时光) — Brain-Training Mini-Games

Please read these Terms carefully before using BrainFit. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

Important: not medical advice. BrainFit is for general entertainment, education, and self-motivation only. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or assess any disease or cognitive condition. The "brain age" number and game scores are playful estimates based on your speed and accuracy in a short tapping test — they are not a clinical or cognitive assessment and must never be relied on as one. BrainFit is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have any concern about your memory, cognition, or health, consult a qualified doctor. See Section 2.

1. About BrainFit

BrainFit ("BrainFit", "脑力时光", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") is an iOS app offering a collection of brain-training mini-games adapted for older adults, plus an optional, light-hearted "brain age" estimate. These Terms apply to your use of the App, including its features, subscriptions, updates, and related services.

2. Not medical advice; entertainment only

You acknowledge and agree that:

BrainFit is provided for entertainment, general education, and self-motivation only. It is not a medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic product.
The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or assess Alzheimer's disease, dementia, mild cognitive impairment, or any other illness or condition, and it makes no claim to improve, restore, or maintain cognitive health.
The "brain age" result is a for-fun estimate derived from your reaction speed and accuracy in a brief test, anchored to the age you enter. It is not validated, not a clinical measure, and can be inaccurate or vary between attempts.
BrainFit is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of anything in the App.
If you have concerns about memory, attention, mood, or any aspect of your health, you will consult a qualified healthcare professional.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all responsibility for any decision you make, or any outcome you experience, in reliance on the App, its scores, or its brain-age estimate.

3. Eligibility

BrainFit is intended for adults. You must be old enough to form a binding contract and to maintain an Apple ID. The App is not directed to children.

4. Subscriptions, free trial & payments

BrainFit offers an optional auto-renewing subscription ("BrainFit Pro") that unlocks unlimited training. Some content is available free with daily limits; the onboarding brain test is free.

Free trial. The yearly plan may include a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription.
Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage & cancel. You can manage or cancel anytime in your device's App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Apple terms. All purchases are processed by Apple and are also governed by Apple's Apple Media Services / Standard EULA. Refunds are handled by Apple per its policies.
Family Sharing. The subscription may be shared via Apple Family Sharing where enabled.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including: reverse-engineering it (except where the law permits), interfering with its operation, or using it unlawfully. The App is licensed, not sold, to you for personal, non-commercial use.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its content, design, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including reliance on its scores or brain-age estimate.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in your place of residence to the extent required; otherwise disputes will be resolved under the laws applicable to the developer, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
